It's official - we are Cyber Essentials certified!
Our commitment to keeping customer data safe and sound
We’ve been working recently to get certified with Cyber Essentials, a UK government industry scheme from the National Cyber Security Centre. It ensures suppliers protect their clients against a whole range of the most common cyber attacks.
Cyber attacks come in many shapes and sizes, but the vast majority are very basic in nature, carried out by relatively unskilled individuals. They’re the digital equivalent of a thief trying your front door to see if it’s unlocked. Cyber Essentials membership is designed to prevent these attacks.
Certification gives you, as a customer, peace of mind that our defences will protect you against the vast majority of common cyber attacks. These attacks are looking for targets which do not have the Cyber Essentials technical controls in place.
From our point of view, Cyber Essentials certification is a pre-requisite when responding to a range of government-funded opportunities, so it’s something a digital agency really needs to do. But we’ve found it useful to revisit and document our processes around issues ranging from password rules to server security and backup procedures.
We’ve always taken our customers’ data security and website protection extremely seriously, but it’s good to see our processes validated independently and it demonstrates our commitment to our clients’ cyber security.
