CGL needed a solution to build self-contained intranets for new projects, containing everything a new staff member would need once TUPE'd in from another employer. The intranets needed were structurally similar, but an easy generation tool was needed to let Drupal take the strain rather than landing staff with laborious, repetitive data tasks.

Intranet features include surveying tools, document management with publishing workflow, news and events calendar, media delivery, FAQs and interactive tools. This was a rapid development of over 20 similar intranets. Each one tailored to meet the needs of a specific organisation structure and offering huge cost benefits over rival systems. Ability to stand up new intranets within 24 hours, including generation of all content, together with emailed account invitations to automatically imported new users.
