Sereno has launched a new website for the Domestic Abuse Commissioner, designed to make a large and complex body of information easier to find, understand and use.
An important part of the project was understanding the very different people who rely on the website. These range from policy makers, professionals, journalists and researchers to victims and survivors and bereaved family members.
We began with discovery and user research, using personas and priority journeys to rethink the site’s information architecture and navigation. This provided the foundation for the design and WordPress build, with accessibility considered throughout the project.
The result is a clearer, more accessible website that helps people navigate policy, evidence, lived experience and practical information while giving the Commissioner’s team a much more flexible platform for publishing their work.
